![]() ![]() ![]() We were only made aware of this policy when we as a group of 4 Black individuals (myself, my wife, my cousin who was a registered guest and my cousin who lives in Barbados and was not a registered guest) were continually stopped by security and told “un-registered guests are not allowed in the rooms and we would need to receive permission to the hotel management to have our cousin visit with us in our room.” When we requested permission from the hotel manager on duty we were denied and told “this is the policy of the hotel.” We explained since the hotel’s worry is theft that our guest is a relative and would even leave his I.D card with the hotel manager as a security measure. This policy is not listed anywhere on their website and we were not made aware of this policy at any point during booking. This means if you book a room at this hotel and would like to spend some time with your mother who lives in Barbados, she will not be allowed in your hotel room because of what was described to us by the hotel manager as a policy that is used to try to prevent thefts from the hotel rooms. Coconut Court Beach Hotel has a policy that does not allow un-registered guests in the hotel rooms. ![]()
